Access 2008 - Day 3, FADIS (Fine Art Digital Imaging System)

Begining in 2000 U of T needed to update the information contained in its Slide Library.  The project that came out of this initiative was called FADIS.  

The resulting digital repository seems like a much more impressive version of ARTstor.  Joining the project is also an option for schools not lucky enough to be U of T.  The platform is based on the same infrastructure that powers iTunes and the Apple Store.

The images have been zoomified so they have variable resolution.
