Access 2008 - Day 3, Mashing Up and Remixing the Library Website
The talk followed the development of the University of Houston Libraries. As per usual, the perenial battle of website maintainence, and staff input was a hot topic. So the solution was to CMS the whole site. The term "universal decentralization" was used to describe the fact that the website content is totally in the hands of the Reference Librarians. It is great to see that a group of Librarians have taken on the responsibilities of maintaining a Library site and that there is active development on it. While there is no API to tie it all together it looks like a successful combination of resources.
